Meet Chris and Zane.
With trade certificates and more than 20 years of experience as custom cabinet makers and installers under each of their belts, Chris McKenzie and Zane Brian are the proud owners of Black Point Architectural Woodwork.
Chris completed his apprenticeship in Western Australia before moving to Whistler to work in the commercial and high-end residential housing market as both a cabinet maker and general carpenter. Chris founded Black Point (named after his favourite surf break in Aus) in 2017.
Zane worked in both Australia and the United Kingdom before moving to Whistler to join the Black Point Architectural Woodwork team in 2020. His passion and skill for high-end work quickly became apparent and Zane joined Chris as a partner in the business in 2023.
When they’re not working, you can find Chris and Zane hanging out with their families, snowboarding, mountain biking, or in Chris’s case, surfing.
